本州から記載されており、今のところ日本特産。枯れ木から稀に採集されるが、その生態の詳細は不明である。おそらく食菌性。

This species was described from Honshu and is currently endemic to Japan. It is occasionally collected from dead wood, but its ecology remains unknown. Probably a fungus-feeder.
